Overview
The Coverage Analysis Agent reviews parsed policy documents and identifies issues that require human attention — coverage gaps, problematic exclusions, and internal inconsistencies. It augments the expertise of underwriters and analysts by surfacing potential problems before they reach manual review.
How It Works
After the Policy Document Parser extracts structured terms from a policy document, the coverage analysis agent reviews the terms against customer requirements, standard coverage expectations, and internal consistency rules. It identifies gaps where expected coverage is missing, exclusions that conflict with customer needs, and inconsistencies between different sections of the policy. Each finding includes a severity rating and recommendation for the reviewer.
The agent learns from reviewer decisions — which findings are confirmed, which are dismissed — refining its analysis to focus on the issues that matter most and reducing false positives over time.
