Introduction

Interloom is a case management and orchestration platform where human operators and AI agents collaborate on structured work. It gives domain experts — not developers — the tools to define how work flows through their organization, with full auditability and the flexibility to handle exceptions as they arise.

How It Works

Interloom organizes work around a small set of core objects:

  1. Spaces scope work for a team, department, or project — defining access and context
  2. Cases (also called tasks) are the unit of work within a space — a claim, a support ticket, an onboarding request. Work within a case can be broken into subtasks and delegated to other users or agents
  3. Procedures define how a case should be handled — a sequence of stages with instructions, assignees, and completion criteria
  4. Threads are the chronological record of everything that happens on a case — messages, status changes, stage transitions, and file attachments
  5. Files, notes, and emails are the artifacts of work — attached to cases, threads, or spaces and indexed in a searchable document library
  6. Users and agents are the participants — humans and AI working side by side on cases

Agents can read context, use tools, create notes, and progress cases through their stages autonomously. @mention an agent to bring it into a conversation, or let procedures assign agents to stages automatically.
